The screw thread micrometre employs interchangeable anvils and a spindle to quickly and accurately measure several sorts of screw thread pitch diameters. To precisely measure pitch diameters of metric or universal screw threads, the screw thread micrometre uses optional V-Anvil and conical spindle inserts interchangeable. For exact, repeatable measurements, a ratchet-stop mechanism applies homogeneous pressure to a workpiece.
