Every Mitutoyo inside micrometre is handcrafted in our own factories, ensuring very accurate inner dimension measurements every time. The Mitutoyo interchangeable rod inside micrometre enables it faster and easier to measure the inside dimensions of a variety of cylinders, rings, and parallel surfaces. Precision, balance, and durability are all factors in the design of the micrometre head. With the use of spacing collars, the sizes of interchangeable rods may be modified, and an extension rod can be used to measure deep bores and holes. The measuring range of each interchangeable rod is clearly defined. The micrometre head and included rods are all satin-chrome.
