Actuators for the Series SAV Angle Seat Valve can be directly mounted to operate the Model PV13 three-way normally closed electro-pneumatic solenoid pilot valve. The actuator moves the solenoid valve from the closed to the open position—or, for generally open valves, the other way around—when the solenoid valve receives an electric input signal. The solenoid valve returns to its usual position when the input is stopped, the pneumatic supply pressure is once more blocked, and the valve closes. The valve comes with a DIN connector and a manual override, and it can be used with air or other inert gases. As long as the exhaust outlet is connected to an appropriate drain line, water can also be utilized as a pilot media.
