The Series DX is a differential pressure switch designed to trigger a contact output based on the difference between two pressure sources. Constructed with brass and flouroelastomer materials, it's compatible with most gases and water-based solutions. This switch is suitable for indicating low differential pressure, with a set point for pressure decrease as low as 1 psid (0.07 bar). It offers differential set point ranges from 2.5 to 75 psid (0.17 to 5.17 bar) for increasing differential pressure and 1.0 to 67 psid (0.07 to 4.62 bar) for decreasing differential pressure. The unit boasts a high static pressure rating of 200 psig (13.8 bar), catering to applications with higher static pressure requirements. Featuring a weatherproof, UL type 4X enclosure, it's suitable for environments with dust, outdoor exposure, or wash-down installations. The Series DX incorporates an externally adjustable set point, integral mounting flange, and a removable electrical terminal block for swift and hassle-free installation. Utilizing opposing diaphragms to sense high and low pressure, along with a pivot mechanism, it effectively transfers the pressure difference to the SPDT switch.
